EPDM connecting hoses in size DN10 to DN50 are recommended for applications such as water softeners , booster pumps and water supply lines in large buildings . They are especially suitable for temperatures up to 70 ° C and thus a good choice for water heaters . The inliner is made of EPDM which continues to be recognized for its quality , meeting specific international standards for use in various markets .
